“I KNOW WHAT LOVE LOOKS LIKE NOW. I’VE NEVER KNOWN A LOVE LIKE HIS.”
Sydney, aka Squid, is a California native who recently found herself called to the Lone Star State. She grew up in the San-Francisco Bay Area but ended up in the small city of Redding, CA where she spent 4 years attending Simpson University. She is an avid lover of Chick-Fil-A, gets hyphy off of E-40 and Jesus and spends her free time facetiming her fur child Emmie Rae, back in California.
Sydney is all for spontaneous trips, whether that be hoping in the car and traveling to another state with a couple hours’ notice, or picking up a friend to run errands. She’s your go to gal if you need a partner in crime for those dreaded errand days. If food was a love language, this would-be squids, hands down.
During Sydney’s time at Simpson, she discovered her love for women’s ministry. This passion and desire came about during a formative season of her life. She knows the struggle of heartbreak and what it is to walk through an unhealthy relationship, but she also knows that she is not alone in situations like these.
Sydney is all about women discovering what it is to walk in community, to hold one another accountable and to encourage the heck out of each other. She strongly believes that every victory a person goes through, no matter how big or small, is a piece of advice meant to help someone else through their tough times.
*Sydney is located in the DFW area and would love to meet for coffee and or hangs to hear your story too!
